Uttar Pradesh : Medical Colleges add Two Thousand New Doctors on CM Yogi Adityanath’s watch
UP’s Medical Colleges appointed 2000 new doctors under the CM Yogi Adityanath’s dispensation. For the first time MBBS Graduates are hired on the basis of Government Service Bonds. The promise remained unfulfilled since 2012, made by Samajwadi Party till CM Yogi Adityanath took over the Chief Minister’s Office.
The CM Yogi Adityanath –led Uttar Pradesh Government handed over appointment letters to an impressive 2000 new MBBS graduates as they join the Medical Colleges in the Uttar Bhartiya State.
“In the last seven years UP CM Yogi Adityanath ji has taken important decisions in the field of medicine. Along with improving facilities, attention was paid to the deployment of doctors.
In this sequence, all the government medical colleges of the state have got about 2,000 new junior doctors. Every medical college has got 40 to 50 doctors.

An impressive 2000 Junior Doctors have been recruited to the Government Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The doctors make their way into the roosters after they were appointed under the Government Service Bond.
This is the first occasion wherein students graduating with an MBBS from Uttar Pradesh are appointed to Medical Colleges after signing a Government Service Bond.
40 to 50 MBBS Graduates are appointed to every Medical College in UP for two years.
So far, only the MD and the MS Graduates were granted appointments in Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh under Government Service Bonds.
For the first time, MBBS graduates from 2018 batch have been appointed to Medical Colleges.
Appointed via counselling, the Junior Doctors are mandated to offer medical services without charging fees.
Directorate of Medical Education initiated the counselling process May 22 onwards. The candidates were asked to register till May 28. Afterwards, their online records were verified.
Newly recruited, these doctors would gain practical exposure while they treat patients under the guidance and supervision of the senior doctors.
If anyone checks the newspaper archives, recruitment of 2000 doctors was promised by the Samajwadi Party during 2012 as well and the promise remained unfulfilled. However, the post by Government of Uttar Pradesh on X, (earlier known as Twitter) states that these recruitments were completed during the last seven years on Chief Minister of UP, Yogi Adityanath’s watch.
