India’s School Fee Problem and the possible solutions

The task of the modern educator is not to cut-down jungles, but to irrigate deserts – C.S. Lewis With every educator lies a sacred duty – the duty to build people wealthy of character, and not just of money. If the duty to build a nation with people of character is replaced with the opportunity…

5 Reasons behind PM Modi’s swadeshi push

(Source – pmindia.gov.in )

The services sector cannot accommodate all of the job aspirants

They happen to be in extremely large numbers. The number of job aspirants exceed the number of vacant jobs in India’s Services and Manufacturing sectors combined. While Services sector cannot accommodate all of the Job Aspirants in India, it is the manufacturing sector which has the potential to employ a larger number of people than it can at present if expanded.

The return of almost all the Indian expats back to India

The expats of India are perceived as a major threat to people of the countries they currently reside in. They have made their way to the High high-paying jobs in their respective countries. On the other hand, a large number of Indians have occupied the jobs that do not require exceedingly skilled people. The expatriates of both kinds either face the threat of cancellation of their visa and deportation back to India or just deportation back to India as illegal migrants . At present there are 30 million+ Indian Immigrants that reside in countries other than India – a number that PM Modi’s Government can not ignore. A large number of these people will need jobs and some of them may need opportunites that incentivize setting up Business in India. All of this needs a push for Manufacturing Inside of India’s borders that PM Modi is providing ever since he was sworn in as The Prime Minister of India.

To decrease the dependence on the other countries of the world

At present India stays dependent on other countries for its components, equipments, tools, etc. and to a large extent too. If India manufactures inside its borders most of those goods that it imports from outside, It can accomplish its mission to become self-reliant.

    Weakening Ties with The USA

India may end up creating its own version of Google ( China created Baidu to replace Google), Youtube, Facebook (An Indian had created Elyments as an alternative to Facebook), Whatsapp (Chinese people use other messaging apps). The reason I write so is because, in case relations deteriorate with The USA Big Tech companies, India will need its own version of all these Big Tech Companies inside of the Indian territories. And at present, the overwhelming success of India’s startups and an impressive number of Unicorn Startups in India are an evidence that India under PM Modi’s leadership will encourage Merit while its people create their own versions of these American Big-Tech companies.

India is a big market with a large number of consumers that Indian Companies can cater to

The number of consumers in India is very large and the Indian Companies would want to capitalize on the large consumer base. This would also keep Indian money inside of its territories.

    1. This is a compelling and well-reasoned argument for prioritizing manufacturing in India.🤝
